Locate the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room. Ensure that air openings are not obstructed and avoid placing the appliance near sources of heat like cookers or radiators.
Allow a 5cm space between adjacent furniture and the back and sides of the appliance. Ensure a 30cm space above the appliance for ventilation.
Level the appliance by screwing out the adjustable foot at the front. If the door drops to the left, adjust the left foot accordingly.
Remove all securing tapes and wash the inside with lukewarm water mixed with bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using detergent.
Allow the appliance to stand for 2 hours after installation before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly.
Plug in the appliance and switch it on at the mains. Allow it to operate with doors closed for at least 8 hours before loading with food.
The appliance automatically sets to the middle temperature position when first switched on. Adjust if necessary using the control panel.
